When you move,
The Practice offers whole-self classes based on our biological stress-cycle, using movement, breath and vocal expression to free internalised emotions and stagnant energy in the body.
These innovative classes are music-driven and integrate high intensity movement, yin-yoga, breathwork and meditation techniques.
The Practice takes you through a transformative experience of high intensity movement, shake therapy, vocal release, yin yoga, breathwork and meditation.
In both the movement and rest stages, the holistic guidance shifts you into new perspectives, centers you to be in the now and empowers you in the relation with yourself. Fostering a quality of clarity, relief and strong sense of self.
Evolving with every practice you take, you bring home new tools for your journey of personal growth.
A mindful experience of moving and resting for your mind, body and soul.
Every practice is designed according to our innate biological stress cycle.
One sustainable way to deal with stress is to develop a new relationship with it. Rather than holding it in and pretending nothing happens, we need to respond to the clear signals the body fires when we experience stress. As we are certainly not meant to live in constant survival. When we constantly numb, suppress, avoid and escape emotions, it affects our entire system, because mind and body are inseparably connected. This type of response becomes a maladaptive lifestyle, influencing everything we think, feel and do.
On the contrary, we are made to discharge and mobilize that energy (also referred to as the fight-flight-freeze response). The way to disrupt these elevated stress levels whenever our bucket overflows is to roar and scream-out our frustration. To move and shake the body. To then intentionally slow down. To take the time to do nothing. To rest and breathe gently. What a relief! And just like that, the body, heart and mind restore to inner-balance.
If we do not use that power, the only thing we will do is drift along, as a victim of circumstances and be power-less.
Creating awareness of internalized stress and
what feels stuck in the bodymind.
Releasing what we hold onto.
Shaking off the dust of tension and stress.
Restoring to inner-balance,
achieving a stable internal
Taking the time to really slow down,
calming the nervous system.
